Mondelez is exploring the acquisition of Hershey according to reports. The deal would create a food company with combined sales of close to US$50 billion, according to a report in BNN Bloomberg. Mondelez first approached Hershey in 2016 but the chocolate company walked away from the proposed US$23 billion offer at that time.
